Snyder's Shipyard is located on the beautiful east side of the LaHave River in Dayspring, Nova Scotia -
Since the yard opened in 1876, over 200 vessels of all sizes and types of construction have been built here.
We are a full-service shipyard and have built and/or worked on some of the world's most recognizable vessels, including: Abigail Grace, Avon Spirit, Bluenose II, Hector, Larinda, Theresa E. Connor, and Theodore Too.

One of our most famous builds is 'Theodore Too' - click photo to see the construction gallery.
Our Yard is More Than 100 Years Old - And Still Going Strong
In November 2011 Snyder's Shipyard was proud to be named builder of the new Scotia 44 as the result of a partnership with Maple Marine Co.
